The aim of the course is to provide an understanding of the fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related technologies for data analysis and management in biomedicine ( biomedical data management and the need for standardization of data for the development of AI models, concepts of machine learning and deep learning, the capabilities of AI in biomedicine in applications involving medical imaging, biosignals and biological data to support research and clinical practice, issues of reliability and ethics in AI in the healthcare sector). The course is intended for scientists in the fields of health and life sciences. Participants will acquire the fundamental knowledge that will enable them to understand developments and discoveries in the life sciences driven by AI. The course is designed so that no prior knowledge of computer science or programming is required.
